A little while ago I did a review of Revlon Colorbust Matte Balms in Audacious, Mischievous, and Unapologetic. These were my favorite shades from the line, and I love them so much! As I said in my review, they are soft, comfortable, and don’t dry my lips. I’ve had them sitting up on my computer desk, and this morning I was admiring how nicely the shades coordinate with each other. I realized that I can wear them all at one time as an ombre lip look! It’s really super easy to do, so I made this quick ombre lip tutorial with Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms.I suppose you can use any colors you like, but these are my favorites. Unapologetic is a bright coral pink, Audacious is an orangey coral and Mischievous is a peachy orange. It’s very easy to do this ombre look with the matte balms, since they are very creamy and blend together effortlessly. Also, the chubby pencil makes applying them a breeze.
Hah! The pictures speak for themselves. This is my type of tutorial, I don’t have to write a whole bunch to explain. Haha! Seriously though, this took all of two minutes and it looks awesome.
I’m super proud of my eye makeup today! One of the cool things about having amazingly bright hair is that since you are already miles away from neutral, you can just go ahead and pile more color on your face and somehow it all works out. :3 Also of note, there are trees blooming here in Los Altos! We get warmer, dryer weather than SF, so apparently the trees think it’s already spring. Not that I’m complaining! I love the fruit tree blossoms!
